Events at the Town Hall during October

Recently in the summer two of our long standing groups joined together to form Chipping Sodbury Men’s Probus Group.
They meet in the Charter Suite at 10.00am on the first, third and fifth Tuesday of the month.
During October this will be the 1st, 15th and 29th.
New members are always welcome.

2 October: Country Property Agents will be holding an auction in the Charter Suite from 18.30pm. Details of the properties can be obtained from the office in Broad Street.

2 October: Churchill Retirement Living will be holding a drop in session at the Town Hall in the Main Hall.

3 October: Chipping Sodbury Evening W.I are holding their monthly meeting in the Main Hall from 19.00pm
New members always welcome.

4 October: the U3A Yate and Sodbury branch will be holding their open day from 13.00pm till 16.00pm.
If you are interested in finding out about the various groups and activities, come along and find out more.

5 October: Amanda Battle will be holding a craft fair in the Main Hall. Voluntary donations welcome. Fair starts at 10.00am.

6 October: Chipping Sodbury Wedding Fair from 11.00am till 15.00pm. Come along and meet our staff and Caterers. See the various stalls on offer and enjoy the fashion show by Future Brides.

8 October: Chipping Sodbury Music Society’s first concert of the new season. Starts 19.30pm
Saxophone and Harp Duo Huw Wiggin and Oliver Wass will be performing a collection of pieces to entertain you.
Tickets £15.00 on the door

9 October: Yate and District Towns Women’s Guild will be holding their monthly meeting in the Main Hall. Everyone welcome.

11 October: An evening of Mediumship with Nikki Kitt.
Starts around 19.30pm. Bar available.

12 October: An evening with Just a Laugh a Minute special guest, Nicholas Parsons, starts 19.30pm.

16 October: An evening of dancing with Cathy Matthews.
Starts 19.30pm. Bar available. A chance to practise your Latin and ballroom dance moves!

19 October: A fund raising event hosted by Yate and Sodbury Scooter Club.

21 October: The Arts Society Severn Valley Lectures restart for the new season with speaker and television antiques expert Lars Tharp. Starts at 11.00am. Guest welcome. Come early as it will be busy.

21 October: Frome Valley Ladies Probus Group Meeting will be held in the Charter Suite at 14.00pm
New members welcome.

26 October: The Mind Body and Spirit Show will be at the Town Hall with lots of stalls, readers and therapies.
Starts at 10.00am till 17.00pm

28 October: Meditation Sessions with Amitabha Buddhist, Dave Jones. Starts at 19.00pm in 61 Broad Street, next to the Town Hall.

30 October: The Dementia Tea Dance will be held in the Main Hall from 14.00pm till 16.00pm. Everyone welcome.

31 October: Chipping Sodbury Ladies Probus Group Meeting starts at 10.00am in the Charter Suite.
New members welcome.
