May Events at the Town Hall

Well it’s certainly been a long winter this year, so what better way is there to celebrate the start of spring, then by coming to the Town Hall to one of our fabulous events taking place this month…….

We start with the U3A Rock n Roll night on 1 May for those who are members.
The dance starts at 19.00pm with a live band.
Contact the U3A organiser if you are interested in attending.

2 May: Mrs Matthews Dance Evening
For all the regulars who enjoy practising their dance moves, this is a popular event. If you just want to come along and have a dance, I am sure you will be welcomed!
Starts at 19.30pm, bar available.

8 May: Chipping Sodbury Music Society
This month the society welcomes the Madolinquents, a 4 piece band with a difference.
Tickets £15.00 available on the door or from Cadeaux and Co in Hatherells Yard.

12 May: Amanda Battle Craft Fair. 10.00am till 16.00pm

16 May – 19 May: Sodbury Players present: Private Peaceful, the story of 2 brothers, divided by love but united by war….
Tickets £9.00 available www.sodburyplayers.org.uk

21 May: Severn Vale District Fine Arts Society Lecture. If you are interested in becoming a member, please contact us and we can put you in touch with the Committee.

24 May: Berni Scott Clairvoyant Evening.
Show starts at 19.30pm bar available.

26 May: Bullfish Charities Craft Fair. 10.00am till 15.00pm

30 May: Lions Club Fundraising Fashion Show Event.

And for those who were expecting to see Rob Foxon and his railway films in March when it snowed, he will be with us on…….

2 June: Railways Remembered. Show starts at 14.30pm but come earlier and have a drink at the bar before it starts.

The Town Hall staff look forward to seeing you at this months events.

Don’t forget we also have lots of groups who meet at the Town Hall and Old Grammar School, like the W.I, Probus Clubs, TWG, U3A, Community Choir, Art Groups, Flower Arranging Club, Photographic Club, Tractor Club, Quilting Group, Macular Support Group, Meditation, Whist Drive to name but a few!!
