Welcome Back to the Town Hall What’s On Feature after our short break during August.

For those of you wishing to attend Buddhist Meditation Classes
they resume again on Mondays from 2nd September from 19.00pm in 61 Broad Street, next door to the Town Hall.
New members are welcome.

Sodbury Photographic Club will be meeting at the Old Grammar School on Monday evenings from 2 September, 19.00pm onwards.

Are you interested in joining a Men’s Probus Group, then look no further!
Chipping Sodbury Probus Group meet every first ( 3 Sept ) third ( 17 Sept ) and fifth Tuesday of the month in the Charter Suite from 9.45am

Tuesday 3 September: Mind Space and Meditation Classes resume at the Old Grammar School from 18.30pm.

The U3A will be holding a quiz for members on Wednesday 4 September from 13.30pm.

Chipping Sodbury has two!
The Evening Group meet at the Town Hall on the first Thursday of the month ( 5 Sept.) from 18.45pm
The Morning Group at the Old Grammar School on the third Tuesday of the month ( 17 Sept.) from 9.30am
Both groups will be happy to welcome you.

We look forward to the return of Sophie’s Bouncersize Classes at the Old Grammar School on Thursday evenings from 5 September
All abilities welcome. Classes start from 19.00pm. Look out for further information at the Town Hall.

Friday mornings are Community Choir mornings!
Join Liz and the gang and have great fun whilst singing, at the Old Grammar School from 9.30am

Saturday 7 September: R.N.L.I are hosting a charity wine tasting at the Old Grammar School from 19.00pm

Tuesday 10 September: Sodbury Flower Arranging Society is holding its regular meeting at the Old Grammar School from 18.30pm
You can learn new skills and meet people who have the same interest in flower arranging
They hold monthly practice classes and demonstration evenings for all abilities.

Wednesday 11 September: Yate and District Town Women’s Guild will be holding their monthly meeting at the Town Hall
from 9.30am. Each month they invite a speaker to come along and refreshments are served afterwards.
Meet new friends and have a good old natter with a cup of tea and a biscuit!

Friday 13 September: Lucky for Andy Ford!
He will be performing his new musical and comedy show: Don’t tell I, tell EE a tribute to Adge Cutler of the Wurzels
Show starts at 19.30pm, bar open beforehand. Tickets £16.00 plus booking fee from Andyfordcomedian.com

If you are looking to join a Masonic Lodge with both male and female members, then why not go along and introduce yourself to those who attend the Lodge Rising Sun and who regularly meet at the Old Grammar School.
Their autumn meeting will be held on Saturday 14 September from 10.00am

Monday 16 September: Frome Valley Ladies Probus will be holding their regular monthly meeting in the Charter Suite from 13.30pm
Every month they have a speaker and refreshments are served afterwards. New members are always welcome.

For those who would like support in dealing with Macular Degeneration, Chipping Sodbury Macular Support Group meet at the Old Grammar School monthly on the third Monday of the month ( 16 Sept ) from 13.00pm

Are you someone who is interested in Tractors and would like to meet others who are too?
Then you are in luck!
The National Vintage Tractor Club of Sodbury are a group of people who meet regularly at the Old Grammar School to chat about Tractors and related matters.
Their club meeting is held on the third Tuesday of the month ( 17 Sept ) and their video nights are held on the second Tuesday, but not always monthly.
You can find out more by calling into the OGS on the 17th and having a chat with one of the members. Go on, you know you want too!

Wednesday 18 September: Sodbury Vale Quilters will be having fun in the Old Grammar School from 19.00pm
Bring your sewing skills to the table and reap the rewards!

For those of you who enjoy going off on a luxury coach with like minded people, for the day, or even longer, the wait is finally over!
Chauffeurhire are launching their new season of trips this evening, Wednesday 18 September, at the Town Hall from 19.00pm
Come along to see which trips and holidays you and your friends are going to book… there is always something for everyone

Monday 23 September: The Arts Society Severn Valley are holding a coffee morning in the Charter Suite from 10.00am
If you are interested in joining the group, come along and find out more.
They have monthly lectures, after which you can enjoy lunch in the comfortable surroundings of the Town Hall, whist having a chat with friends.

Wednesday 25 – Saturday 28 September: Sodbury Players are performing ” Dick Barton Special Agent” at the Town Hall. Performances start at 19.30pm, bar available. Tickets are £9.00 from www.sodburyplayers.org.uk or 03443 320 230

Thursday 26 September: Chipping Sodbury Ladies Probus will be meeting in the Charter Suite from 9.15am
New members welcome. They have a monthly speaker and refreshments are served afterwards.
