Functions & Event Hire

The Old Grammar School is suitable for a variety of functions at very reasonable hire rates.

Suitable for Community Group Meetings, presentations and workshops.

This venue offers  disabled access and toilet facilities together with a hearing loop system and limited Wi-Fi.

There is a well equipped kitchen suitable  for self catering, together with adequate tables and chairs. Both rooms offer comfortable and well lit accommodation, ideal for intricate working.

The venue consists of  two rooms, The Watkins Room and the Walters Room.

Both rooms  are suitable for holding craft fairs, exhibitions and presentations offering a projector screen facility, adequate electrical sockets and black out curtains.

The Watkins Room has a capacity of approx 50 people with direct access to a courtyard garden with parasol cover available in the summer. The room is ideal for small wedding receptions and birthday/celebratory parties. Also suitable for business meetings/conferences.

Utilising the courtyard garden, particularly during the summer months make this an ideal venue for  holding craft fairs and garden parties including BBQ’s.

The Walters Room is the smaller of the two rooms and has a capacity of  up to 35 people.
