What’s happening at the Town Hall in July?

Well, we are certainly in the middle of a mini heat wave currently, with temperatures soaring and no doubt sales of ice cream rising!

In July we have a whole host of exciting events:

Monday 2nd July – We kick off with the Rotary Club of Chipping Sodbury hosting their annual Young Innovator Competition in the Main Hall.  School children who are preparing for their GCSE exams, exhibit items they have made as part of their practical coursework, to a panel of judges.  If you would like to support these local children, come along around 13.00pm to find out more.

Wednesday 4 July – River Frome will be holding a Restoration Meeting at the Old Grammar School at 19.00pm , together with an optional bat detection walk afterwards.

Thursday 12 – 14 July – Shooting Stars will be performing CATS, the musical.  Tickets are £9.00 and are available from www.ticketsource.co.uk/shootingstars or call 0778 386 9087

Friday 20 – 21 July – Sodbury Players Youth Section take to the stage with FOOTLOOSE, the musical.  Tickets are £8.00 and are available from www.sodburyplayers.org.uk or call

Friday 27 July – Members of  U3A can enjoy a fashion show at the Town Hall. Please ask your group for further details regarding this event.

Saturday 28 July – Emporium Enterprises are hosting a Craft Fair at the Town Hall from 10.00am onwards.
